Pashupatinath temple is one of the most popular destinations for tourists and pilgrims alike and stands on the bank of the Holy Bagmati River. Believed to be the most sacred of the Hindu temples, this temple holds great cultural and religious importance. Lord Shiva is the major deity worshiped in this temple and thousands of people visit this place every day, especially on Monday, but remember, no camera is allowed inside. Boudhanath stupa, on the other hand, is one of the most sacred places for the Buddhist with over 50 monasteries in the vicinity. The Bouddhnath Stupa stands 36m high and was built by late King Man Deva. The unique study design makes this stand out from the rest and is worshiped with great devotion by Buddhist.
