Valley trek. The lifestyle, festivals and the tradition of the ethic Gurung people residing in this village is one of the major attraction for the tour. Trekkers will get an opportunity to experience the life of the ethnic people.
As we move to the much popular Langtang Valley we come across many snowclad mountains including Mt. Ganesh, Mt. Langtang Lirung(7,234m), Naya Kangri(5,846m), Dorje Lakpa(6,966m) and many others. The holy lake of Gosainkunda is also one of the major highlights of this trek. There are many small lakes in the area that are situated above 4,300m and surrounded by the hills and mountains which look heavenly. Rhododendron and Bamboo forests with its divine lushness make our walk even more worthwhile.
As a relatively new trek in this area, Langtang Gatlang trek has been growing in popularity among trekkers due to the blend of nature and culture and it really keeps up to its hype. From the mountains to the beautiful Kyanjin Gompa(3,870m) to the Tserko Ri(5,033m) the sheer magnitude of natural beauty that this trek throws at the trekkers is phenomenal.
The highest altitude is 5,033m in Tserko Ri so acclimatization is an important factor. Trekkers with high physical fitness are recommended. Guides from Happy Land Trek will pick you up at the International Airport and transfer you to the hotel. All the briefing about the trek will be done there. We will also take care of all the food, accommodation and luggage so you can fully concentrate on your trek.
Day 01: Arrival In Kathmandu transfer to hotel preparation for trekking and over night in Kathmandu
Day 02: Kathmandu to syabrubesi (1503m) by bus 7-8 hrs drive
Day 03: Trek Syabrubesi to Gatlang (2238m)
Day 04: explore around the Gatlang village : hiking parbati kunda lake, cheese factory and Buddhist monastery and over night in Gatlang
Day 05: Trek Gatlang to Tatopani (2607m)
Day 06: Trek Tatopani Nagthali Danda (3165m)
Day 07: Trek Nagthali Danda to Thuma Gau (2338m) via view point
Day 08: Trek Thuma Gau to Brimdim (2848m)
Day 09: Trek Brimdim to Syabrubesi (1503m)
Day 10: Syabrubesi to Kathmandu (1336m) by bus
Day 11: Departure to international airport or if you have few days extra in Kathmandu you can chill, shopping, sightseeing etc

We trek per day between 4 to 8 hours its depending on the walk, we can always tailor the date to you and your needs. Whilst trekking with Happyland Treks we must try to drink 3 to 4 liters water per day. Water is known to help when combating mountain altitude sickness.
During the trek almost every village you will have access to boiled purified drinking water. When trekking you will go through terrain that can be flat, downhill uphill and at points with lots of stairs. We are always there to help and support you and your journey. Mountain Altitude Sickness can affect anyone above 3000 meters. Altitude Sickness affects people regardless of sex. age and fitness. If you are showing signs of mountain altitude sickness your safety is our first priority and we will facilitate you getting down as fast as possible. We suggest prior to trekking to ensure you are in good health and have consulted with your GP. It is recommended prior to departing walking training is done so you have the most enjoyable time whilst trekking. Please don’t hesitate ask more.
ACUTE MOUNTAIN SICKNESS!
Many people suffer from mild symptoms of AMS (ACCUTE MOUNTAIN SICKNESS)
A light headache, loss of appetite and disturbed sleep may occur when suffering from AMS. If you experience any of these symptoms do not continue ascend. Instead, stay where you are or go down to acclimatize.
