People often say that the Everest region is a great challenge that not everyone can overcome. But with enough dedication and precaution, any normal being can trek this region. And the results will definitely be worth it, for which you can’t thank yourself enough. Of course, peak climbing is on a whole another level that not many have the power to conquer.

Everest Base Camp

The most popular trekking destination for trekkers and hikers has been the Everest Base Camp. Settling at an elevation of above 5364m this must be one of the most rewarding treks that Everest Trekking Tours has to offer. Being a rudimentary campsite for peak climbers this Base camp is often home to many people with different purposes but the same destination.

The one con is that this site has no offer view of Everest peak from base camp. It is quite underwhelming that you can’t view the summit of the world’s highest peak from the Everest base camp. But for that very purpose, you could hike Kala Patthar.

Kala Patthar View Point

Kala Patthar is a peak at about 5550m, just about 186m above Everest Base Camp. It would be great if you could climb Kala Patthar to have a better glimpse of Mt. Everest. The climb to Kala Patthar is about 2-3 hours from the Gorak Shep and is worth every single drop of sweat. This peak has been a rudimentary destination for people who want to get a clear view of the enormous peak of Everest and many other high mountains and glaciers.

Three High Passes – Difficulty challenging Trek in Everest

Everest Trekking Tours may be a wholesome experience by far. But the Three High Passes must be its ultimate adventure while highlighting all the Himalayas views with local Sherpa culture. The Three High Passes is rated “really Challenging”. Compared to other Everest region treks such as Everest Base Camp, Kala Patthar, and Gokyo Ri. This has to be the most challenging one. But often the challenge is more than the reward. Taking about 18 days to complete this trek this has to be the hardest trek Nepal has to offer.  The trail of this trek goes over the Renjo, Cho la, and kongma la pass and then deep into the Dudh Koshi valley. From there the trail heads up to Everest Base Camp. Across this path, you get to experience three great peaks: Gokyo Ri, Kala Patthar, and Chukhung Ri.
