What to Expect

We trek per day between 4 to 8 hours. However, Depending on the walk, we can always tailor the date to you and your needs. Therefore, While trekking with Happyland Treks we recommend you to drink 4 to 5 liters of water per day. In addition, Water is known to help when combating mountain altitude sickness.

Purified water, shower and battery charge

Moreover, For the camera/mobile battery we always recommend you bring some extra batteries if possible. Therefore, you can have a Mobile/Camera Battery charge for almost every tea house and the places where you stay at night. And it costs 200 – 500 per battery charge. 

Therefore, During the Trek in almost every village, you will have access to boiled purified drinking water. In addition, a bottle of water, and hot water for the drink which costs from 70 – 500 rupee per liter depending where you are. 

Moreover, A cold shower is free but we do not recommend not recommends cold showers during the trek because it is too cold up there. Therefore, That is to say, it’s better to have a hot shower which is possible by Gas Geysers or Hot Bucked and prices start from 100 – 500 rupee per head.

Do I need training for Manaslu Tsum Valley Trek?

What is the best season for the Manaslu Tsum Valley Trek

ACUTE MOUNTAIN SICKNESS!

However, Many people suffer from mild symptoms of AMS (ACUTE MOUNTAIN SICKNESS)
In addition, A light headache, loss of appetite. and disturbed sleep may occur when suffering from AMS. If you experience any of these symptoms do not continue to ascend. Therefore, stay where you are or go down to acclimatize.

Hace – High Altitude Cerebral Edema (swelling of the brain)
Hape – High Altitude Pulmonary Edema (fluids in the lungs)

SYMPTOMS INCLUDE:

Firstly, Persistent severe headache, difficulty breathing, confused thinking, loss of appetite. Therefore, rapid breathing or breathlessness at rest, vomiting, coughing up pink. In addition, brown or white sputum, the sound of liquid in the lungs. Moreover, Blueness of face and lips, severe lethargy (not wanting to do anything). Persistent bubbling cough. or persistently increased heart rate (110 per minute)
Prevention:- Therefore, Drink plenty of water (not the alcoholic beverage) and eat fruit – especially when crossing high pass.
