What to Expect during Trek to Everest Base Camp
About 2 weeks trek to Everest base camp is physically demanding but technically not very difficult. No need for mountaineering skills to complete the trek. but improving your cardio, rowing, cycling, and jogging exercise, can help your body and energy level, which is easy to walk.
In general, we start our trek around 7:30 to 7:45 a.m. and reach the destination around 3 to 4 p.m. We’re staying in a trekking tea house with basic accommodation provided with food.
Water is good medicine for the altitude so drink plenty of water as often. And good to avoid alcohol and smoking.
Walking anywhere from 4 hrs. to 9 hrs. a day, slow and steady, given a variety of terrain, including stairs uphill and downhill, rocky trails, dunes, moraine, High suspension bridges, glaciers, etc.

However, For the shower, Cold showers are free but we do not recommend therefore not recommending cold showers during the trek because it is cold up there. Therefore, it’s better to have a hot shower which is possible by Gas Geysers, or Hot Bucked and prices start from 200 – 500 rupees per head.
In addition, for The camera/mobile battery, we always recommend you bring some extra batteries if possible, You can have a Mobile/Camera Battery charge for almost every tea house in the places, where you stay at night and it costs around 200 – 500 per battery charge.
