This is a short itinerary of the Eight day’s Poon hill trek Nepal.
Day 1: Kathmandu Arrival
The first day starts with the arrival in Kathmandu. You will be picked up and transported to the hotel by our private transport. Then, in the evening, you will meet the Company CEO and trekking staff, You can clear your confusion by asking questions to us. including the gear or things that you need for your trek.
Day 2: Kathmandu to Pokhara
On the second day, from Kathmandu to Pokhara by bus or a short 25 minutes flight, to reach Pokhara and enjoy the view there, roam there, and stay there for the night. You can visit Phewa Lake, do boating and enjoy the view out there in Pokhara on the first day in Pokhara.
Day 3: Pokhara to Ulleri
The third day begins with breakfast. On the third day, the drive to Nayapul starts with private transport which takes about 1.10 hours. Then the trek starts from Nayapul. We have to walk for 6 to 7 hours to reach our first destination which is Ulleri but on the way, we will take many breaks to restore our energy. You will also get to see many beautiful views of hills, rivers, forests, etc. We can also click photos, and videos on the way for the memory. You will also be provided snacks on the way.
The first day of the trek can be a little harder as you will not be used to it on the first day and the first day is also a little bit longer than other days. There will also be lunchtime on the way to the local tea house to satisfy your hunger. Then after walking for some hours, at the end of the day at 1:30 hrs climb we will reach Ulleri. Then we will have dinner there at a local tea house, You can also have a shower there. We will stay for the night there and due to all the tiredness of walking, the sleep will also be great.
Day 4: Ulleri to Ghorepani
After a great sleep, you will be surprised by the great view of the mountain if the weather is clear. Then, after having breakfast, the trek starts with the goal of reaching Ghorepani. With great excitement, the trek started. The view on the way will surely amaze you. The view is just miraculous. The flowing sound of rivers, birds chirping, beautiful fields, cliffs, and many suspension bridges are surely amazing. By enjoying all the views, you will forget your tiredness.
And after walking for some hours, you will reach the place for lunch at Nangethanti. Then after restoring your energy. The trek starts and after walking a little for some hours, you will reach the place where you will be staying for the night in Ghorepani. Then you will get dinner and you can enjoy some time being around the heater place to get warm as the tea house.
Day 5: Ghorepani to Poon Hill to Tadapani
On the fifth day, you will have to wake up early and after about 1-hour uphill hike, you will reach your final destination Poon hill (3210m). You will get to enjoy the sunrise view with more than 8 different mountain views on the Annapurna Himalayan range. You can also see the 7th highest mountain in the world, Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167m) on the Annapurna Himalayan range. The view from up there is definitely worth the tiring walk. You can also click photos and videos there. and have some warm tea or coffee.
After enjoying yourself there, you will be downhill and taken to your hotel for breakfast. Then after having breakfast, the trek starts again. After walking a little bit uphill, you will be going downhills. along the path you will enjoy the mountain view with a green hill, forest, stream, etc. you will reach the place for having lunch. Again after a little bit downhill and a little bit uphill you will reach Tadapani for our accommodations. You can keep yourself warm with the heater there. Then you can have your dinner and you can also talk, and play and after enjoying some time, you can sleep.
Day 6: Tadapani to Ghandruk
On the sixth day, after breakfast, the trek starts. It’s all a downhill hike and after 3-4 hours of hiking, you will reach Ghandruk. We will have lunch there and wander around visiting the museum, gumba, high school, etc, and enjoying the mountain view. You can also wear Gurung cultural dress and take some photos. Then you have to get back to your hotel and have dinner and chill.
Day 7: Ghandruk to Nayapul and Pokhara
On the seventh day, after breakfast, you have to walk easily downhill and flat land which takes approx 6-7 hrs. easy stop for lunch whenever you are hungry. Then you will reach Nayapul from where you will be taken to Pokhara by private transport. Then you will reach your hotel at Pokhara, roam there, do shopping, etc. It’s the final day of a six-day Poon hill trek in Nepal Annapurna. You can enjoy yourself there at Pokhara for a few more days if you have extra days.
Day 8: Pokhara to Kathmandu
After enjoying Pokhara, you will be taken to Kathmandu by tourist bus or domestic flight and overnight in Kathmandu. Stay a few more days in Kathmandu or depart to the international airport.
