This was our first ever hike, and it was a great introduction. Some parts were challenging but doable. Gorgeous nature and never too busy or congested. We chose the Happyland treks for this trip as they seemed very friendly when we first called. After we arrived in Nepal, we became sure that we chose the right agency. They were very friendly and supportive. I forgot to bring medicine, and they helped me to locate a pharmacy at Thamel. Our guide was also a huge help during the trek. We had a worry-free trek mostly because of our experienced guide. He always kept our safety as his priority, and we felt safe with him.
Thank you so much for wonderful experience at Poonhill Trek. It was an amazing!!! Very nice view and lots of mountain and sunrise. We really like also the Ghandruk museum and gurung dress up.
The whole experience with Happyland Treks has been incredible. The manager was extremely professional and quick to respond to any emails I had before we started our Poon Hill Trek. Our guide was also amazing. We went for 9days’ trek, and the guide was very helpful throughout the trip. He organized everything for us, we didn’t have to worry about a thing because it was always taken care of. He suggested to us some unique places from where we got gorgeous views and also recommended excellent restaurants. I highly recommend this company as they were very professional, flexible, and organized.
My boyfriend and I had the best experience with Happyland Treks. The staffs were so helpful with the booking and answering our questions. When we were on our way to Pokhara from Kathmandu, our flight was canceled, so they even prepared us a Jeep to get to Pokhara as we had limited time. All the staffs were so kind and understanding throughout. Our guide was also fantastic. He was very knowledgeable about the area and was very supportive. I will surely recommend Happyland Treks to those traveling in Nepal.
This was my highlight of our Nepal visit. We went in low season, so the trail was not packed out with people. I thought that the view from one of the points between Ghorepani and Tadapani was better. It seems that the view gets clearest before midday, so I probably could have gone around 10 and missed the crowds and the frigid cold. Though the trek itself was amazing. Even though walking on those rough trail with that high altitude was tough, it doesn’t require any special skills or training. However, I recommend trekkers to do some cardio exercises for a few weeks before Annapurna Poon Hill trek. I chose to do the trek with Happyland Treks, and I am delighted with their services.
