Trek Overview

Ask a trekker what is the most wonderful trekking site they have ever trekked. 9 out of 10 would probably say Everest Base Camp. The marvelous destination settled on the lap of the mighty Himalayas and the Base camp of the world’s tallest Mt Everest. Many have dreamed of this trek but only a few have the guts, luck, and dedication to conquer this piece of land. This trail of base camp takes you deep into the Khumbu valley, making you realize its historical and cultural significance. We will walk along the great Sagarmatha National park taking a glimpse of its flora and fauna.

This amazing trip of yours begins with your arrival in Kathmandu. We will escort you to your hotel and then take a short flight to Lukla from where the trekking starts. The same day we reach Lukla we tend to ascend toward the Namche Bazaar through lush and very dense forest. Reaching Namche Bazaar you must realize that this is the last stop for people to do the shopping and stuff. So, anything you want to take this may be the best time.

However, the path to Tengboche is not an easy one and is filled with upside-down. Walking through this route you may also get a glimpse of Nuptse and Lhotse. To make the day even better you will see Tengboche Monastery, which is one of the largest monasteries in the Khumbu region. Adding somewhat of a cultural significance and importance to this place. The next day we trek from Tengboche to Dingboche which is an easy trek as most of the part is downhill. Therefore, we tend to descend through a lush dense forest full of rhododendrons and small villages.

Reaching the Base Camp

Reaching our final destination i.e Dingboche, we tend to take a day’s rest for acclimatization, as we tend to have reached quite an altitude. Therefore, after the rest day, we will continue our journey and walk towards the famous glacier of the Khumbu region. Continuing the same trail we ascend and climb uphill to reach Pheriche village, finally arriving at our destination Lobuche.

Thereon, from Lobuche, it is quite a rough path to Gorak Shep and Everest Base Camp. We tend to continue our uphill towards the base camp. When reaching the camp finally, we will spend a couple of hours rewarding you for your great dedication and seeing the stunning views of the camp.

Lastly, from here we tend to take one last hike to Kala Patthar, as there is no best place for the great view of Everest as Kala Patthar. Blessing ourselves with the view of mighty Everest. You are now looking at the tallest peak of all time. We then retract then descend back to Lukla. I wasn’t too enthusiastic about this trip at first since I’m not an outgoing person. Despite this, as soon as I got here, I was thrilled to see the enthusiasm of the people here. I got inspired to climb to the top and see the world’s highest peak base camp. I am extremely grateful to the team for giving me such boldness.

The most remarkable thing about this trip is the people and the mountains. They cherish their culture and respect the tourists, which makes us feel warm and welcome to blend in. However, the mountains, glaciers, and the region’s forests were an incredible beauty of the area.
