What to Expect

We trek per day between 4 to 8 hours. However, Depending on the walk, we can always tailor the date to you and your needs. Terrain during Trekking

When trekking you will go through terrain that can be flat. Downhill uphill, and at points with lots of stairs.

During the trip, we will sleep at a maximum altitude of 5180m. (Gorakshep) which is two hours and thirty minutes before the Everest Base Camp. Small domestic flight to Lukla-Tenjin Hilari Airport, (Khumbu District) Mt Everest 8848.86 m. The highest point on the earth.Mt. Everest has three different names:
Nepali: Sagarmatha.
English: Everest.
Chinese: Chomolungma. 

Purified water, Shower and Mobile Battery

However, During the trek almost every village you will have access to boiled purified drinking water. Therefore, When trekking you will go through terrain that can be flat. Downhill uphill, and at points with lots of stairs. 

For the shower, cold showers are free but we do not recommend. Not recommending cold showers during the trek because it is cold up there. Therefore, so it’s better to have a hot shower which is possible by Gas Geysers.  Hot Bucked and prices start from 200 – 500 rupee per head.

However, For the camera/mobile battery we always recommend you bring some extra batteries if possible. You can have a Mobile/Camera Battery charge for almost every tea house. In the places, where you stay at night and it costs around 200 – 500 per battery charge.

Arrival in Kathmandu transfer to hotel preparation for trekking and overnight in Kathmandu. (1400m)

Kathmandu to Lukla (2840m) by flight 50 minute, breakfast in Lukla after breakfast trek to Phakding (2610m) approximately 3:30 hrs.

Trek Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440m) approximately 6-7 hrs.

In addition, Acclimatization day at Namche Bazaar: rest, chilling, exploring and enjoying the view.

Moreover, Trek Namche Bazaar to Dole (4200m) approximately 5 hrs.

Trek Dole to Machharmo (4400m) approximately 3-4 hrs.

Trek Machharmo to Gokyo (4790m) approximately 4-5 hrs.

Acclimatization day at Gokyao valley: Hiking, chilling with mountain, or hiking Gokyo Ri. exploring and enjoying the view.

Morning hike to Gokyao Ri and trek to Dragnag (4700m) approximately 5-6 hrs.

Trek Dragnag to Dzonghla (4830m) via Cho-La pass. approximately 7-8 hrs.

Trek Dzonghla to Lobuche (4910m) approximately 2-3 hrs.

Trek Lobuche to Gorakshep (5180m) to Everest Base Camp (5364m) and overnight in Gorakshep. approximately 6-7 hrs

Early morning hike up to Kalapathar. (5550m) to see sunrise view and mountain range include Mt Everest. and back to Gorakshep breakfast and trek to Pheriche (4240m) approximately 7-8 hrs.

Trek Pheriche to Tengboche. (3868m) approximately 4-5 hrs.

Trek Tengboche to Namche Bazaar (3440m) approximately 5 hrs.

To sum up, Trek Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2840m) approximately 7-8 hrs.

Lastly, Morning flight back to Kathmandu (1336m) from Lukla. And overnight in Kathmandu.

To sum up, Departure to international airport or if you have few days extra in Kathmandu you can chill, do shopping, sightseeing, etc.

Do I need training for EverestBaseCamp Chola Pass Gokyo

Acute Mountain Sickness in EverestBaseCamp Chola Pass Gokyo

Firstly, Many people suffer from mild symptoms of AMS (ACCUTE MOUNTAIN SICKNESS) throughout Everest Base Camp Trek

Symptoms included

Prevention:- Drink plenty of water (not alcoholic beverage) and eat fruit – especially in the high mountains and when crossing high pass.
