“Amazing Gokyo lake with beautiful Himalaya views ”
After doing the Annapurna Circuit in 2017, my brother and I wanted something more challenging, so of course the Everest region was our choice. We didn’t want to go to the base camp, and wanted something a bit off the beaten tracks, so we went to Gokyo Lake. It turned out to be a great idea since it was actually quiet, with awesome views on the Everest. This trek is for trekkers with at least a little experience, since Gokyo is at 4800m. Climbing Gokyo Ri up to around 5,300m was also part of the highlights of the experience and gave us the best view on both the lake and mountains.

I completed this 13 days trek with Happyland Trek as a solo female trekker. I was amazed by the attentiveness, courtesy, hospitality, and graciousness of the team that was assigned to me. I felt completely safe and very well catered after by this team. We were a group of four solo trekkers. I was very fortunate to be with this group. The trek was physically straining, but the trek itinerary, routes, and guide physically conditioned us for the higher altitude treks. The crew made it clear that my safety was their first priority, so I was able to trek worry-free. The guide ensuredour safety and made sure that all our needs were fulfilled. I am extremely grateful for the experience I had and the cherished memories with my trekking group. The culture, Nepalese people, and mountain kingdoms have been enriching and inspirational! Thank you all

One of the most exciting treks I’ve done. The Everest Gokyo Lake Trek is really as more scenic than the classic Everest Base Camp trek. I did The Everest Gokyo Trek around the last week of April. So, the weather was excellent. We were picked up at the Tribhuwan International Airport, and a representative received me at the airport. The next day, we went for exploring Kathmandu valley. Then, towards Gokyo and Everest Base Camp. The whole trip from the beginning was fascinating. Happyland Treks offered me a great guide. He was very helpful throughout the trip. He stayed behind with me even as I was back from the main party. My experience with Happyland was amazing. If I ever visit Nepal, I won’t hire any travel agency other than Happyland.

This was my first trek in Nepal but I am already planning a second one next year. It has the most amazing sceneries and the friendliest people I’ve ever met, and there’s nothing like the view on Gokyo Lake and Mount Everest as a reward for one’s efforts. So worth it.

Our experience with Happyland could not be any better than it was. Our guide was highly skilled and knowledgeable about the landscape of our travel route. He told usabout the local cultures, history, and mythology of the mountains. he was also very friendly and always tried his best to make us feel comfortable. Despite the unexpected weather condition, he helped us to make our trekking experience as best as possible. Happyland treks’ team was working with us for over a year to make a best possible customized trip as we required. They also answered quickly of any queries we had. We got to have this amazing experience only due to the Happyland Trek.
