This was my first trek in Nepal but I am already planning a second one next year. It has the most amazing sceneries and the friendliest people I’ve ever met, and there’s nothing like the view on Gokyo Lake and Mount Everest as a reward for one’s efforts. So
worth it.
“Happy Happy ”
Had an amazing time on our trek. Our guide and porter Resham and Sambhu were fantastic and made a great team. It was my first visit to Nepal and I was touched by the scenery, the people and the tradition, I will definitely be back to see more. Thank you Happyland Treks.
“Amazing Gokyo lake with beautiful Himalaya views ”
After doing the Annapurna Circuit in 2016, my brother and I wanted something more challenging, so of course the Everest region was our choice. We didn’t want to go to the base camp, and wanted something a bit off the beaten tracks, so we went to Gokyo Lake. It turned out to be a great idea since it was actually quiet, with awesome views on the Everest. This trek is for trekkers with at least a little experience, since Gokyo is at 4800m. Climbing Gokyo Ri up to around 5300m was also part of the highlights of the experience and gave us the best view on both the lake and mountains.
