Trek Details

As if the Everest Base Camp Trek was not difficult enough, here is another challenge for all trekkers. Everest Three Pass Trek leads you to the three high passes in the Everest region, each over 5000m in altitude. These passes include Renjo La (5,340m), Kongma La (5,535m) and Chola La (5,368m).  This demanding package is tailored mostly for the avid trekkers who have previous experience.

However, these high passes are not the only attraction of this heavenly trek. From the beautiful glaciers, to the famous KalaPathar (5,535m) and eventually the Everest Base Camp (5,364m) itself, the entire adventure brings together an arduous journey which is well supplemented by the present of four of the highest mountains including Mt. Everest (8,848m), Mt. Makalu (8,470m), Cho Yu (8,156m), Mt.Lhotse (8,591m), as well as several others. The view from the high passes is extraordinary and rarely trekkers will get to be surrounded by these ice giants and walk on the rocky trails.
The three high passes will test the limit of the stamina as the trekkers cross one pass after another. The view of the Gokyo Lake is amazing and the beautiful Sherpa villages with their unique lifestyle are yet another highlight of this journey. Happy Land Trek has tailored this three-weeks journey so that the trekkers can enjoy the full adventure without worrying about food, accommodation or luggage.
As every other trek in the Khumbu region, Everest Three Pass Trek starts from Lukla after a flight from Kathmandu. We move to Namche Bazar (3,535m)- the gateway to the Khumbu region. As we conquer the three high passes we will also visit the Gokyo Lake and Kala Pathar where the view of the mighty Everest is definitely worth seeing.

This was one of the best experiences of my life! If you want to challenge yourself or want a highpass rewarding experience, 100% do it. The guides that Happyland Treks provided made the trip all the better. They made me feel incredibly comfortable and safe. They were super attentive to everyone’s every need. The views are the most stunning I’ve ever experienced. You should go have a look too! Before coming here, we trained for six months, it paid off, at least physically, even if the altitude was a strong challenge. I’d come here again and again, as the mountains, the views, and the group feel are unique.

“Everest High pass Trek ”
We did this trek end of February and our guide took us through the three high passes of the Everest region and never failed to encourage us in the difficult moments. We got an awesome view every morning before the wind came. Knowing that this trek is one of the most challenging I can say that I will forever cherish this memory as one of my best achievement, and be forever thankful to Bimal and his company for his helpfulness and friendliness.
