Renjo Chola Everest high pass, Everest Base Camp, this trip is difficult. Our course of the journey is rather simple. Firstly, We start with a short flight to Lukla from Kathmandu. From where we will trek to Namche Bazar, and our first acclimatization day here at 3440m. The gateway to the Everest region. Moreover, from there we will move to Renjo La pass with Gokyo Lake and acclimatize to the altitude of 4800m. Therefore, moving up to Cho La we will then descend down to Lobuche (4,940m), and reach Everest Base Camp (5,346m). Lastly, Kala Pathar will be our next stop from where we will descend down to Namche Bazar and back to Lukla.

What to expect during Renjo Chola Everest high pass

Purified water, Shower and Mobile Battery

In addition, During the trek almost every village. Therefore, You will have access to boiled purified drinking water. When trekking you will go through terrain. That can be flat, downhill uphill, and at points with lots of stairs. 

However, For the shower, cold showers are free but we do not recommend, Not recommending cold showers . Moreover, During the trek because it is cold up there so it’s better to have a hot shower. Therefore, Which is possible by Gas Geysers. Or Hot Bucked and prices start from 200 – 500 rupee per head.

However, For the camera/mobile battery. Therefore, We always recommend you bring some extra batteries if possible. You can have a Mobile/Camera Battery charge. For almost every tea house in the places. Therefore, Where you stay at night and it costs around 200 – 500 per battery charge.

Arrival in Kathmandu transfer to hotel preparation for trekking and overnight in Kathmandu. (1400m)

Kathmandu to Lukla (2840m) by flight 50 minute, breakfast in Lukla after breakfast trek to Phakding (2610m) approximately 3:30 hrs.

Trek Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440m) approximately 6-7 hrs.

In addition, Acclimatization day at Namche Bazaar: rest, chilling, exploring and enjoying the view.

Trek Namche Bazaar to Thame (3800m) approximately 5-6 hrs.

Trek Thame to Lumde (4370m) approximately 4-5 hrs.

Trek Lumde to Gokyao (4800m) via Renjo La (5360m) approximately 7-8 hrs.

Therefore, it is a Rest day or optional Hike to Gokyo Ri (5357m) exploring and enjoying the view and overnight in Gokyo.

Trek Gokyo to Thagnak (4750m) approximately 4-5 hrs.

Trek Thagnak to Dzongla (4830m) via Cho-La pass (5367m) approximately 7-8 hrs.

Trek Dzongla to Lobuche (4940m) approximately 2-3 hrs.

Trek Lobuche to Gorakshep (5180m) to Everest Base Camp (5364m) and over night in Gorakshep. approximately 7-8 hrs.

Early morning hike up to Kalapathar. (5550m) to see sunrise view and mountain range include Mt Everest. and back to Gorakshep breakfast and trek to Pheriche (4240m) approximately 7-8 hrs.

Trek Pheriche to Tengboche. (3868m) approximately 4-5 hrs. Visiting one of the largest Buddhist gompa.

Trek Tengboche to Namche Bazaar (3440m) approximately 5 hrs.

Trek Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2840m) approximately 7-8 hrs.

Lastly, Morning flight back to Kathmandu (1336m) from Lukla. and overnight in Kathmandu.

To sum up, Departure to international airport or if you have few days extra in Kathmandu you can chill, do shopping, sightseeing, etc.

Do I need training for Renjo Gokyo Chola Everest Base Camp

Trekking in the Himalayas is challenging. Therefore, As you will be hiking steadily for 4 to 8 hours a day, this trek is great for people with some physical fitness. What is the best season for Renjo Gokyo Chola Everest Base Camp

However, People travel and trek every month of the year, but the best seasons are Spring, from March to May, and Autumn, from October to the beginning of December. Therefore, January is one of the coldest months of the year and May is one of the hottest.
