The trekking days are a bit longer throughout the base camp trek. but still E.B.C. is amazing though.

Throughout this trek with the scenic views of Everest, you also get to see other high mountain peaks such as Mt. Nuptse (7861m) Mt. Lhotse (8,516m) Mt. Ama Dablam (6812m) standing tall. Hike to Hotel Everest View

Hotel Everest View Hike, a trek of 7 days begins the moment you will land in Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal. Moreover, this day you will spend at your hotel. The next day we will be taking a short flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. However, the flight is just 35 mins but enough to amaze you with its scenic view. On the same day, we will be trekking from Lukla to Phakding. The next day we will be reaching Namche bazaar with 6-7 hours of trek. Getting exhausted from the day we rest at Namche bazaar.

The next day we will be trekking to Everest View Hotel, where we will be spending the whole day and night. Moreover, day 5  is when our descent begins, we will be descending from Everest View Hotel to Lukla, which will drain us for the day. The next day we will be returning to Kathmandu by flight and spend the day in the hotel. The next day is when we end this beautiful journey and head home.

What to Expect during Hotel Everest View Hike?

Mount Everest Trekking in Nepal trek per day between 4 to 8 hours depending on the walk. Likewise, We can always tailor the date to suit you and your needs.  Therefore, Most importantly trekking with Happyland Treks we must try to drink 4-5 liters of water per day because water is known to help when combating mountain altitude sickness.    

Purified water, Shower and Mobile Battery during Hotel Everest View Hike

To sum up, Private tour to Everest during the trek almost every village you will have access to boiled purified drinking water. In addition,  When trekking you will go through terrain that can be flat, downhill uphill, and at points with lots of stairs. 

However, For the shower, cold showers are free but we do not recommend therefore not recommending cold showers during the trek because it is cold up there. Therefore, it’s better to have a hot shower which is possible by Gas Geysers, or Hot Bucked and prices start from 200 – 500 rupee per head.

In addition, The camera/mobile battery we always recommend you bring some extra batteries if possible, you can have a Mobile/Camera Battery charge for almost every tea house in the places, where you stay at night and it costs around 200 – 500 per battery charge.  That is to say, be self dependent. 

Itinerary of Hotel Everest View Hike


Altitude: 1,400m/4,5938ft.

Our journey starts as soon as you land in the capital city of Nepal. The moment you land in Kathmandu, our team will pick you up from the airport and escort you to your hotel for the day. This day you will be spending as final moment preparation in the hotel. Moreover, we will be having a short evening session after dinner as a final preparation. In addition, our guides and experts to make this trip the most enjoyable and safe one.


Altitude: 2,800m/9184ft (Lukla) & 2,652m/8,698ft (Phakding)
Walking Distance: 8km (3-4 hours)

Day two begins early in the morning when you will be taking a short flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. This flight will be a very short one of merely just 35 mins. However, this may be the best 35mins you have ever spent on a flight. Moreover, with the scenic view of Kathmandu city over the air, and the great view of the majestic Himalayan region and the high hills of Nepal. It will be a perfect start to this amazing trip.
Moreover, as we land in Lukla, we will be then take a small rest and will begin our hike for the day. Therefore, we will start trekking on a pretty flat surface. You will encounter a couple of downhill points. Moreover, after a few hours of trekking, you will then be reaching Phakding with ease. Therefore, it being our destination for the day, we will spend the night here.

Day 3Phakding to Namche Bazaar.

Altitude: 3,440m/11,283ft.
Walking Distance: 10-12km (5-6 hours)

Our trek begins early in the morning, we will start this beautiful day with a walk beside the Dudh Koshi river. Moreover, this beautiful river will be our pathway which will lead us all the way to Sagarmatha National Park. Therefore, entering the National Park we will be experiencing the flora and fauna of this region for the very first time. With the natural thrills and suspense that will amaze us. The small villages all within few kilometers of distance and the luscious pine forest.
The day begins pretty easily but the intense hours of the day will provide us with few challenges and an intense trek. Moreover, in these situations, our guides will do a perfect way to escort you to your finest.
Hiking for hours will take us to Suspension Hillary Bridge, which after crossing the day seems to come to an end with just a few hours of sunlight left. Therefore, we will be giving one last hike of about 2:30 hours which will finally take us to Namche Bazaar. Moreover, reaching Namche Bazaar we will now finally be able to get the first glimpse of Mount Everest at a distance standing proud. With this glorious view, we end the day.

Day 4Namche Bazaar to Everest View Hotel

Altitude: 3880m/12729ft.

Namche Bazaar is full of excitement and is almost all filled with people. But our location is a more beautiful place, we must leave this behind and move ahead. The Everest View Hotel is just a few kilometer’s hike from here. Moreover, early morning starting our trek we will reach there within a few hours. Everest View hotel is believed to be the one hotel at such an altitude. Moreover, this is really a lucky moment for us to enjoy it. The moment you reach Everest View Hotel, the panoramic view of Everest will take your breath away. Moreover, each room having a window with a panoramic view of the whole Khumbu region is what everyone needs. Moreover, we will be staying here for the night enjoying this perfect beauty.

Day 5Everest View Hotel to Lukla.

Altitude: 2,800m/9,184ft.
Walking Distance: 16km (6-7 hours)

The thrilling experience and the magnificent view we got the other day was out of the world. Moreover, we being short on time must leave this beautiful place behind. Therefore, we will now begin our descent today. We start by descending all the way to Namche bazaar from the hotel. After a short rest at Namche Bazaar, we will again be starting the descent. Therefore, now we will cross the same old pine trees and small villages. The Sagarmatha National park which once welcomed us is now waving goodbye.
Therefore, taking the same old beaten path along the Dudh Koshi river will be our pathway to exit this National Park. Moreover, we will once again thank the Himalayan region for providing us with such a wonderful time and a fun experience. Reaching Lukla, you will be needing a great celebration as the task you accomplished was not a small deal. Moreover, with a great celebration, this day ends at Lukla.

Day 6Lukla to Kathmandu.

Altitude: 1400m/4593ft.
Flight time: 35 min.

The trips come to nearing the end. The memories are still all fresh. Therefore, this will be the final day we spend at the Himalayan region. Moreover, we thank it for providing us with such a great and unforgettable time. We came empty-handed but are returning with full of experiences and knowledge.
On the morning of the day, we will be taking a flight back to Kathmandu from Lukla. Moreover, experienced the same science view for one last time. The moment you land at Kathmandu, we will escort you back to your Hotel for the day. You can spend this day resting or enjoy exploring Kathmandu city and its bust streets. Moreover, we will be having an evening session at the evening to summarize your trip. Therefore, we will be excited to listen to your stories and experiences.

Day 7Departure from Kathmandu.

Altitude: 1,400m/4,593ft.

To sum up, this wonderful journey has come to an end. This will be our very last goodbye. Therefore, we will drop you at Tribhuvan International airport as per your scheduled return time.
