Trek Details

Embark on a journey to the newly opened route in the Annapurna region. Filled with more than enough natural dominance at your disposal, this trek to the western Nepal is one to remember. Also known as the Khopre Ridge trek, the journey to Khopra Danda follows the route to Ghorepani but diverge down to the valley and eventually up the Khopa Danda, located north of Poonhill. The view of the Annapurna Massif from this hill is worth a million shots. Google it and you will know!

More

Although eventually known to be the substitute for Poonhill and to watch the mountains and sunsets, this trek enables you to enjoy the both end of the spectrum. Not only will the trekkers get to visit the beautiful Khorpa ridge as well as the village of GhorepaniI(2,874m) and the most popular Poon Hill(3,21m). The beauty of the miraculous Annapurna Massif, Mt. Dhaulagiri(8,167m) and the Nilgiri mountains set a spectacular backdrop of one of the most beautiful treks in the western Himalayas.
This Trek is perfect for beginners as it does not compromise with the beauty to its relative ease. The best season to visit would be September-November and March- May. Happy Land Trek will prepare all the food, accommodation and luggage arrangement. So, pack your bag and let’s go on an adventure.

“Khopra Annapurna Trek ”
My wife and her friends convinced me that we would be more than capable of trekking through Nepal. At first I found this dubious but, as it transpires, there are treks readily available for those of us who are not as spritely as we once were! The trekking was still a challenge, of course, but the guide was very understanding and helpful and we were more than able to complete the journey. I had been told about the view of the Annapurna Massif but put simply, there are no words, and no one photo can do it justice. Truly, it is a marvel.
