More

Here is a short route description to Khopra Danda Trek from Tatopani via Paudwar. However, there might be many variations for the route. We start from the Tatopani itself; however, the choice is all yours about reaching Khopra in one day or stop in Paudwar for the night.  We have to endure the 2 to 3-hour walk from Tatopani to Paudwar which is a culturally rich village, we cross the beautiful Kali Gandaki. We reach Khopra Danda from Paudwar in 4 to 6 hours. The mind- blowing views of sunrise and sunset will mesmerize you.
To explore even more, you can further trek From Khopra to Khayer Lake which takes around 6 to 8 hours. The lake has the religious importance too apart from its natural beauties. The next thing you can do is go to Bayeli from Khopra and from Bayeli to Tadapani. The trail is easy. We recommend you to stop Dobato for the views from Muldai Danda. You will have many alternatives or you can simply go to beautiful hot springs at Jhinu and walk out via Landruk and Pothana.

Really glad I chose both this trek and this company because the hot springs were amazing, bathing and relaxing after walking so much was the best feeling ever! Lots of fun with the guide, and lots of encouragement from him. I’ll probably go back trekking in Langtang next spring with Happyland Treks, for a new and a bit more challenging experience.
