Trek Details

Valley trek. The lifestyle, festivals and the tradition of the ethic Gurung people residing in this village is one of the major attraction of Langtang Village Gatlang Trek. Trekkers will get an opportunity to experience the life of the ethnic people.

As we move to the popular Langtang Valley we come across many snowclad mountains including Mt. Ganesh, Mt. Langtang Lirung (7,234m), Naya Kangri (5,846m), Dorje Lakpa (6,966m) and many others. The holy lake of Gosainkunda is also one of the major highlights of this trek. There are many small lakes in the area that are situated above 4,300m and surrounded by hills and mountains which look heavenly. Rhododendron and Bamboo forests with its divine lushness make our walk even more worthwhile.
As a relatively new trek in this area, Langtang Gatlang trek has been growing in popularity among trekkers due to the blend of nature and culture and really keeps up to its hype. From the mountains to the beautiful Kyanjin Gompa (3,870m) to the Tserko Ri (5,033m) the sheer magnitude of natural beauty that this trek throws at the trekkers is phenomenal.
The highest altitude is 5,033m in Tserko Ri so acclimatization is an important factor. Trekkers with high physical fitness are recommended. Guides from HappyLand Trek will pick you up at the International Airport and transfer you to the hotel. All the briefing about the trek will be done there. We will also take care of all the food, accommodation and luggage so you can fully concentrate on your trek.

“Langtang Village Trek ”
I enjoyed every minute of my travel in Nepal, particularly the company of the locals. I loved getting away from the crowded cities to wander through the forest in the Langtang region, I appreciated the calm and solitude, but still didn’t want to do it on my own, so that I decided to hire a guide. Didn’t regret my decision, since we had a great time together, not only while walking and enjoying the view, but also playing cards and discussing in the evening. Lot’s of fun memories, thanks Happyland Treks!!
