“Amazing Gosaikund Trek ”
My colleagues and I knew we needed to go trekking while we were in Nepal, but we were more interested in sightseeing than chasing peaks, and when we spoke to Happy we realized that this package was going to be the best for us. It was still taxing, but we got to see all the beauty of Langtang rather than just struggling up one big climb. There was a great mix of both TIbetan and Nepali culture and we got to see the scenery change from almost swampy forests to barren quarries and then back again as we ascended through the mountain range. Lake Gosaikunda was the highest point of our trek, and also the most breathtaking. It’s easy to see why the locals have attached religious significance to it – we were blown away. The guide and the porters made it so easy, too, as we weren’t weighed down and could instead focus on taking in all the sights that Nepal has to offer. Amazing trip, all the guys had a blast.

“Beautiful Langtang Trek ”
I chose to do this trek because I had knee surgery last year and needed something a little easier. With the porter to carry my bag and the walking poles I am buying in Kathmandu, it was not so much of a challenge as other big treks that I have been offered. There are many interesting places to see along the way and we cover much ground around Langtang area. We got to Kyanjin Gomba early so I got to go and explore the nearby glacier which was very beautiful and also an easy trek. It was a great experience and I would love to do something like this again in the future.
