Day-by-Day Langtang Trek Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m) 

Our representative will welcome you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. Today you will take the rest and even do some interesting walking in Thamel, a popular town in Kathmandu full of beautiful trekking gear shops, cyber cafes, restaurants, and nice spots for wandering. Day 02: Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (1,463m) – 6-8 Hours

The adventure to Langtang starts by taking a picturesque 4-hour drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi. Here, the road goes up towards Trishuli River a classic view with terraced slopes and typical Nepali hamlets filled with the scent of the organic basmati. Day 04: Trek from Lama Hotel to Langtang Village (3,430m) – 5-6 Hours

Wake up to the beautiful vistas of Langtang Lirung (7,227 m). The route leads you through beautiful alpine meadows and yak pastures. The presence of prayer wheels and Mani walls on the trial makes up the peaceful trek. Along the way, you'll encounter the small settlement of Ghoda Tabela, a perfect spot to pause for lunch before making your way to Langtang Village. Day 05: Trek from Langtang Village to Kyanjin Gompa (3,830m) – 4 Hours + Kyanjin Ri Hike (Optional)

As the trek is fairly short, you will have plenty of time to explore the Kyanjin Monastery, another traditional cheese factory, and the surrounding glaciers.
