What Makes This Yoga Retreat Unique?
There are many ways to explore the Annapurna region but this our few as meaningful as this.
Unlike typical high-speed treks, our retreat is built around rhythm, not rush. You move through mountain villages and forest trails, yes but each day begins by grounding yourself through breath and presence. Yoga isn’t just added in it’s part of the journey’s heartbeat that everyone belive on it.
And the best part? You don’t pay anything for the yoga.
You only pay for the trekking package itself (which includes guides, permits, accommodation, etc.), but your sunrise yoga sessions? Completely free. It’s not a luxury addon. It’s a gift from us to you.
Inside the 7–9 Day Journey (Itinerary Highlights)
The trek takes you through some of Nepal’s most iconic terrain. Here's a glimpse into what the journey feels like:
-
Day 1: Arrive in Pokhara – team meetup.
-
Day 2: Drive to Nayapul and trek to Tikhedhunga
-
Day 3: Trek to Ghorepani.
-
Day 4: Early morning hike to Poon Hill, followed by sunrise yoga
-
Day 5–7: Continue through Tadapani, Ghandruk, and return to Pokhara
You’ll trek through rhododendron forests, cross suspension bridges, interact with local Gurung communities, and witness jaw-dropping mountain views every day. But it’s those quiet, early hours you know when the world is still asleep and your mat faces the clouds and that people remember most.
The Free Yoga: Not Just a Bonus, It’s the Heart
Yoga at altitude is something different. Your breath slows. Your awareness sharpens. And without distraction, even the simplest poses feel transformative.
Each session is 60 minutes, guided by certified instructors with experience in both yoga and mountain wellness. It's gentle, adaptable, and deeply restorative.
And again it’s totally free. You won’t be asked to “upgrade” or add it on later. It’s simply a part of the experience, built in because we believe mindful movement should never be behind a paywall.

Optional Add-ons (For Even Deeper Restoration)
While the daily yoga is completely free and included with your trek, you also have the option to enhance your retreat with a few mindful experiences along the way. If you're interested in deeper relaxation and spiritual healing, sound therapy sessions are available using traditional Himalayan singing bowls to help realign energy and settle the nervous system after a long day of hiking. In the evenings, some groups choose to gather for guided singing bowl meditation, a calming group practice often done under the stars. And once you return to Pokhara, there’s an opportunity to join a relaxed city walking tour where you can explore local cafes, artisan shops, temples, and lakeside life. These add-ons are optional, flexible, and easy to arrange depending on your schedule and interest. Just let us know ahead of time, and we’ll help you weave them naturally into your journey.
How to Prepare: What to Pack & Expect
This retreat is designed for beginner to moderate-level trekkers who are in reasonably good health. You don’t need any advanced skills or prior mountain experience, just a bit of stamina and an open heart. Since mornings in the Himalayas can be chilly, especially at higher altitudes, packing layers is essential. Think lightweight thermals, a fleece, and a windproof outer layer. For yoga sessions, bring clothing that’s breathable, moisture-wicking, and comfortable enough to move freely in. A good pair of trekking shoes, well-broken-in and supportive is a must. If you have a travel yoga mat or towel, it’s great to bring along, though we can provide one if needed. Most importantly, bring curiosity. You’re not just hiking you’re stepping into a slower, deeper rhythm of travel. So, you won’t need to worry about accommodations, food, or logistics. All of that from mountain lodges to permits to local meals is already taken care of in your trekking package, so you can focus on the experience itself.
What Others Are Saying
Many of our past trekkers describe this journey as “unexpectedly life-changing.” Karla from Sweden shared how she originally came for the mountains but left with something much deeper. “I thought it was just going to be a trek,” she said, “but those yoga mornings... they changed me. I’ve never felt so grounded and present in my life.” Similarly, Nishant from India remarked how the free yoga sessions became the emotional center of his trip. “Honestly, I expected something basic,” he said. “But it was the most powerful part of the whole experience. Worth it a hundred times over.” These are just a few reflections from the many travelers who arrived as guests and left feeling renewed, recharged, and more connected to themselves.
